February and March snow!
Kato surveying his local beach, Goring, covered in snow
Well it's been a fascinating week down on the South Coast, we rarely see snow (unfortunately) but this past week we have experienced a fair bit of the white stuff! ... It wasn't quite as good (or bad depending on how you view it) as the original forecasts but we embraced the snow and dog walks and home drop ins continued as usual.
The early morning beach walks along Goring with Kato gave me the opportunity to take photos of the snow before most people had walked through it - and Kato certainly enjoyed rolling around in it!
My own cat, Silverstone, was also very fascinated by the snow because she has never seen it before - she is however currently a house cat so the plummenting temperature was a bit of a shock to her - hence the jumper! Silverstone is a bit of a princess and does object to the wind ruffling her fur so the bargain priced (dog) jumper has been a bit of a saving grace to get her outside with her cat harness ....
As of today, Sunday 4th March 2018 the snow has all melted along Worthing so we shall cross our paws for more next year!
